Welcome to grade 2/3!  I hope you had a wonderful summer, filled with adventure, memories and fun with family and friends!  I am very excited to be teaching you all this year, and to get to know everyone!  I hope that it will be an exciting year for all of us! I look forward to meeting all of our new grade 2 and 3 students on Tuesday September 4th!

On the first day of school, the students will be getting to know each other, myself and their new learning environment.

The focus of our first week of school will be on establishing routines, developing strategies that will help enhance our learning environment and classroom culture, as well as getting to know each other a little better.

Please keep an eye out this week for our classroom newsletter, technology agreement, and any other important forms that will need to be filled out.   A lot of important information will be going home over the first week of school!

Student homework bags and agendas will also be coming home on the first day of school.  Please look through the agenda daily for important information.  The agenda will also be an important communication tool throughout the school year. Please return homework bags and agenda daily.

Please have your child bring:

Please explore and have fun learning!   Please check blog weekly, as I will be updating it with classroom news and information.

I look forward to working with you this year to ensure your child has a successful school year.
