I am currently updating this section.  Feel free to use the information and links that are currently available.

It is important for your child to be reading at least 20 minutes each and every day!   As nightly homework, it is encouraged that your child read for 20 minutes.  Please ask your child to read to you out loud or ask them questions about what they read.  Reading will also help your child with their writing skills too!!  In addition, reading builds fluency, comprehension, word solving (decoding), and a love for reading.Image result for reading at home

Dolch Words

Dolch words are the 220 most common words found in children's literature.  Knowing these words provides an excellent base for reading and writing. These words are often called "sight words" as most of them cannot be sounded out, and need to be learned through recognition.  Please take the time to review all word lists.  Practice and memorize words and how to spell them at home.
