What we learned this week:
Computer training with Mrs. Toxopeus. The kids learned how to use Google Read and Write while using Google docs. They seemed to enjoy the fact that the computer will type what they tell them!
Wednesday was International Pink Shirt Day.
Language:
We have been focusing on media. We have been exploring advertisements, discussing audience and also how advertisers try to persuade us.
Math:
We continue to look at fractions.
Science:
Grade 2s: Animals (looking at mammals)
Grade 3s: Plants (needs of plants)
Art: We completed our Perimeter and Area name art.
